All my C++ dev experience has been wrapped in C++ Builder or DirectX stuff. Very little raw win32 dev.

Plus my COM objects are loaded into another process, not sure how to debug/profile that?

That graph is all good and well but in my experience people are moving away from MFC/ATL.
As evidenced by this thread the skills are extremely hard to come by and very expensive to keep.
Are you saying dequadin is old school?This is a situation companies that don't keep up to date with modern technology find themselves in.
My advice is to start rewriting your software in a more popular language.
