Long time lurker, first time poster
Moved into my own flat in December. Was told I can get myself a really nice FTTH deal as well.
SecureLink (www.slink.co.za) are the ISP's. We sent in our registration forms beginning of January, and they haven't said anything to us since.
We (flatmate and myself) call them regularly to get updates, telling them we have the money aside and we can pay for installation and everything... Even take a day off work and let them in to install.... They just get irritated with us and tell us we need to wait until we are put on the "schedule"...
Unfortunately there is no other ISP's available at my complex, and Im sick and tired of spending copious amounts of money on Vodacom's crappy data deals just so that I can do work from home, and play some video games in my free time.
Does anyone know about SecureLink?? Maybe know someone who works for them and can explain what's happening??
I just dont want to wait another 3 months to receive fibre which gives me more troubles.
