Anyone know when SEACOM can back online?

There is a cable break 1200km from Dar es Sallam ..... ship has left Oman and about 24 hours sailing to site. Include repair times you are looking at tomorrow evening sometime.

Dar es Salaam (Arabic: دار السلام‎ [translation: "house of Peace"] Dār as-Salām), formerly Mzizima, is the largest city in Tanzania. Oman in Israel right? To my knowledge, that should be more than 24 hours sailing if I am not mistaken.
 
From twit: #Seacom have identified a network fault between Mumbai and Dar-es-salaam. They are unable to provide an ETR at present.
 
Internet service providers making use of the SEACOM cable system for bandwidth have experienced problems with international connectivity today.

Afrihost has posted a message on its Client Zone page, saying, "We are experiencing an intermittent International ADSL connectivity problem. Our upstream service providers' engineers are investigating the cause of the problem. We will post more details here shortly once we have more information."

The SEACOM consortium said that the problem was between Mumbai and Mombasa, with no word on the cause of the issue.

Some ISPs have also begun routing traffic via the SAT-3 cable system, My Broadband reported.

Subscribers using the SEACOM system have been left in the lurch before, with an outage on a partner cable resulting in connectivity problems in April.

Hey Superspeed, Where are you getting that information? is there a rss feed or a website that i can have a look at to keep in the loop? I am looking at mweb network status but it just says that there is a problem with the SEACOM cable, no details (http://www.mweb.co.za/helpcentre/NetworkStatusNotices/tabid/1765/Default.aspx)

Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhh, another two weeks of no internet, since if there is one fault on Seacom, another ten faults are bound to pop up
 
Seacom is down AGAIN, ETA on repair (reliable sources) say tomorrow evening ±

doesn't MWEB also use Seacom? I came home this afternoon to see that I have no internet...restarted my pc and router and all of a sudden my downloads are FLYING at 425kb/s!!!
