I'm troubleshooting...this Telkom ADSL WiFi4 port wifi router which is as old as the hills. Anyone using one?

I got the one without the wireless - ADSL Router Pots 4-Port

Same firmware, AFAIK:

Firmware Version: CX82xxx_4.1.0.9
Customer Software Version: 4.1.0.9_F2_MAR_03

Sorry, had to go out...

Yeah, well, fairly well. had it for 5 years .

I can't promise I can help, but what's your problem?

Thanks. Issue resolved. I've added you to my little Black Book for any future problems.:D

These modems are like the General Electric appliances of the 1950's. They work like a charm forever They don't make them like this anymore.

I would tend to agree there. This one spent two years being toted about in my toolbox for testing purposes until my linksys died and I had to re-instate it as my personal internet connection. The interface is horrific, but you get used to it. You can set it up for multiple sessions in both bridge and non-bridged mode, and it only ever gets re-booted by eskom. It's survived lightning strikes here that have killed phones and pc's, and best of all, it's better than my vodacom e220 3g!
