Anyone using Mozilla FireFox 3 beta version?

..yeah, and then something went funny, my old firefox updated itself or that one updated itself and..poof all my bookmarks and (porn related) history went bye bye. But yeah, its cool. They havent updated all that much.


hah, by the way IE8 beta is out :D
 
actually it seems that most extension writers have started to move their stuff.most of my extensions work with 3.0b4pre so I have decided to go with that. And that's in Linux as well.

Tab Mix Plus didn't work. So I got Session Manager. FireFTP not working so I just got a proper FTP client. MAF MHT also took a hit. But I wasn't using it anyway.

These worked: Adblock Plus, Download Statusbar, DownThemAll!, NoScript, PDF Download and ShowIP.

Do you perhaps know if PicLens works with this beta?
 
Yep using the beta and so far it's pretty good.

The memory print is indeed much smaller but not anywhere near as small as I'd like.

@mercurial: No, PicLens is only released up to version 2.0.x at the moment :)
 
Using FF 3.0b4 and so far its pretty good. Mem usage is down approx 50% from FF 2 (on my machine anyway) and the overall speed seems to be faster as well.

I don't like FF3 Beta 5.

Some plugins doesn't work and also : The downloads and history bars is WEIRD and stupid, I personally isn't looking for any eye-candy in my downloads-window or my status-bar pop-down-thingy.
 
Only 2 gripes with FF beta 3:

1. My foxmarks no longer work
2. There seems to be something not liking Yahoo. Every time it crashed it was as result of me doing something in Yahoo mail. I'm guessing at the moment it is when you 'move' emails to own folders (drag & drop)
 
Just installed 3.0b4

What an improvement on v2.00.12! Only thing is being a beta most extensions etc arent yet supported but that is to be expected until v3 is released.

I love it.
