Anyone using Mozilla FireFox 3 beta version?

I tried beta 3 a while ago and wasn't impressed.
Maybe this one is better :)
 
I have been using it since beta 3 came out (beta 2 was horrible), and it is now my default browser. Some of my work includes research, so I have quite a number of tabs open sometimes. The thing that caught my eye is that memory leaks seem to be trimmed down. It is no secret that Firefox 2 was a memory bomb. There are also a number of GUI improvements that I like, like a downloads overview now appearing in the status bar of the browser.

As far as rendering and memory usage goes, I am very happy with Firefox 3 beta3. I see beta 4 is available, so I'm updating now.

My bad I was using Beta 2 instead of Beta 3 and yes, it was a mistake to try it. I guesse the next versions are better.
 
no wonder you got a virus dablak :)

dont ever use IE unless you are forced to some website that does not support FF
 
Yes using Beta 5, its excellent for a Beta product wow I think it beats Firefox 2.0.12 memory footprint is smaller... Good browser

hey..past tense,i fixed the issue by installing ie8:D
Acually if a mod checked my browsing habits on this site,it would show up as opera all the time and firefox:D
DOnt worry i dont really use ie...So there;)
 
Not a lot of them, Adblock Plus, Save Session Manager, No Script... So far I know they do
