We used Sawireless when we lived in the area. They were quick to install, and everything was running great. It was definitely true - there were no caps, and we got 1 meg speeds pretty consistently.
Unfortunately, things went a little haywire. Various issues at the towers and other vague events ended up meaning as much downtime as uptime. Mid December, the line went down - when we moved at the end of the year, it had been down for over two weeks, and everyone that knew anything was apparently on holiday, according to the person who answered their phones. Our move was a sudden one, so it never did get resolved before we left.
Additionally, for some reason our SNR took a serious dive. Every call we made was met with a promise that someone would be out to check the antenna to be sure it was aligned correctly. I swear we called them on a weekly basis. After a month and a half, someone finally came out and made an adjustment.
My summary of Sawireless: when it works, it's brilliant. But if you need your connection reliably - as I do for my business - the downtime just ends up being too much of a liability. Luckily I had 3G as a backup, but still very frustrating. In the three-odd months we used them, I'd say we had about 1 month of downtime altogether.
Maybe they've gotten all those issues worked out since we moved - it has been three months, after all. I will say that they were always very friendly to me and pleasant in attitude. But I'd be hesitant to use them again, simply because I can't afford to be uncertain whether the internet is going to work tomorrow, next week or five minutes from now.
