Hi,

Im looking for someone to teach me C++ Programming,

I stay in Cape Town (southern suburbs)

Willing to pay per lesson and come to you or you come to me

My goal is to start game programming but I first need someone to teach me the basics of just C++

Rather buy a good book, or read some online tutorials then post on the forum if you have trouble; it's much faster and you get much more opinions. And it's free(ish).
 
sorry i forgot to add, i kinda suck with reading books and all because i get bored REALLY EASILY (i have enough books at school)

so basically, i dont mind paying someone
 
Thanks for the link, hyperian. I know I am going to enjoy the read ;) (I know how to program in C++ but I still love reading books like these).
 
ooh i found a place called New Horizon, they said they are willing to teach me :)
 
teaching youself is the best way.. most of the campuses in SA are subpar... you will learn the basics but good programmer learn from the web and books...

You will need a solid understand of complex maths, be able to transform mathematical equations into algorithms or normal procedures. Also you will need to understand the principles of game development, terminology such as viewing frustum, occlusion culling, mip-mapping, BSP trees, quantitative rendering, alot more:)
