AOC - again patches ?

Last night i installed it on my PC and the wife's.

So we started with the patches, 2 pc
1st patch was 5mb :D
2nd patch was 90mb :(
3rd patch was 13mb :)
4th patch 690mb :eek: :sick:

so i had 2 pc's runnig right through the night downloading ....

I looked to see if i could find the patch file and just copy it over to the other pc. no luck.

So this morning @ 4am i watched the intro and played a bit .... was very tempting to call in "cough cough" sick. :D

AFAIK download all the patches on 1 pc...
then copy over the entire game directory to the other pc, and it should work

if by chance you missed it, patching and downtimes will be on mondays and thursdays for time being while things are sorted out and then will be decreased i guess to one day...

side note, i can't start conan in full screen any more after patching, hope its the drivers 177.39...

*might have missed one step though in patching
 
had no problem with not having full screen start, but could not Alt-Tab out of the game for some reason...

guess its the drivers then, because windowed mode is fine till i switch options to full screen, the music continues but there is no other input/outer response...

  1. boot vga mode
  2. uninstall 177.39
  3. uninstall physx
  4. driver sweeper
  5. reboot
  6. direct x june 2008
  7. installed 177.39
  8. reboot
  9. installed physx

+ another 5.31mb > 17.2mb emergency patch later the day. Though that will probably come to the same as the original 5 > 17 patch for people who did not patch yet since the 25th.
 
well, on patch thursday 26th i whish someone else had this info up so i know how to bet on my cap hehehe.... but i bought some more just to make it to 30th :P
 
no patches for 30th,

patching is now only on wednesdays, 4am GMT - so thats 6am here in rsa

Any1 know what size the patch today is? (19th Aug)

still no option to download an update.exe?
 
...i wonder how much patching is to be done since Budda's post

26th june to 25th oct - ±1.17G

±5MB > 21.4MB > 14.5MB > 1.13G
