I know there are a few folks following this as closely as I am... are there any local guilds yet?

There are 4 or 5 of us keen to start a guild or join a guild, we have very limited MMO experience... however we arleady have a tank, a healer/mage, two rangers (possibly 1 ranger 1 assassin) and a rogue...

Ah. I say, keep off the MMO crack. For the love of your friends and family.

lol... I'll pass then thanx.

I have a WOW subscription, I'm buying BF2 this week-end, I have Guild wars
I play America's Army.

Can't afford to pay for another game :)

BF2 will eat all your time too..very addictive...enjoy :D

not free, but it looks awesome, they seem to be addressing a lot of the issues (especially boring combat which is being replaced with real time combat) in this game...

so anyone have a guild or want to start with us. We are mostly married, btwn mid 20's and early 30's and will probably only be able to play in the evenings or over the weekends... when it eventually comes out. All fairly new to MMO's, but all have played Morrowind, Oblivion, CounterStrike, WoW, and a host of other RTS, RPG's etc.

I might check it out when it gets released, but the MMO I am really waiting for is WARHAMMER!!!!!!!!!

hey.... this is an AoC thread...

So the idea is to discuss a little about AoC - what you're looking forward to.

Personally it will be the first time my friends and I will play an online game together... if our wives will let us (whipped)

Hmm, I'm keen on any "platform action rpg" type thing for the 360. The fact that it's also an MMO is quite exciting. I must say the gore is a bit of a turn off, but hey it's Conan.

Im fairly certian that there will be a mature content level manager or something so you can probably turn the gore off or down...

From what I've been reading the combat system is hotting up to revolutionize (and i use this term in the loosest form) the mmoRPG world. Been having a look at the screenies included in the newsletters and also on the site - I like the fact that they have gone for a more realistic look for the weapons, clothing and armor... less anime styled.
