Aorus 1080 Graphics Card

Hello fellow gamers!

So, Aorus has brought in their own brand of GFX cards with the 1080. Any thoughts on this, and how hard itll be hitting the wallets?

Unknown at this stage, it will be in the premium bracket. Gigabyte has not announced a date or price, but only that the GPU will have a 4-year warranty. I do not see Gigabyte going into competition against themselves, the top range Gigabyte and Aorus will be closely priced where Aorus will add value with the warranty to build brand recognition and loyalty.

My question is, i have seen a couple of places stating Aorus being the premium brand for Gigabyte, which may make them more expensive, would their 1080's be a bit more pricy than the average price? (talking of 1080s like they are cheap xD)

Here is my 2c worth, if you want a 1080 then go buy the cheapest one you can find, the zotac or galax ones are your best bet. Thing is performance wise there is very little between the brands and they all overclock & perform in the same ballpark. It's really not worth it to pay R1-3k more for those extra 3-5 fps.
