I posted on another thread regarding this issue but narrowed it down to being an mtn sim issue.
Currently have a data share contract sim, so would like to keep one of these in a router as a failover when fibre goes down.
It used to work seamlessly before.
Got an sms (when I placed it in my phone to test) saying my device does not support auto configuration. To setup configure myMTN as apn and http://www.mtn.co.za as home page.
Tried a few different things to edit settings but connection drops after a few minutes and doesn't work.
DHCP option 66 and 120 were not ticked by default but it only actually worked for the few minutes with these checked.
Option 66 helps auto configure according to Google, not sure about 120..
Will the dial number be where I input homepage and is there any other setting I should change?
