Apple announced Lockdown Mode to protect against "state-sponsored mercenary spyware"

Apple has announced a new feature for iOS 16, iPadOS, and MacOS Ventura to increase security for those frequently targeted by spyware.

According to Apple, the new setting — dubbed Lockdown Mode — offers an optional level of security for users targeted by the most sophisticated digital threats, including those from the NSO Group such as Pegasus.

apple releasing some pretty icons and graphics, to apease the users of thier phone,

until they realize the spyware will simply bypass it, while it "looks" locked down.

but hey, if it makes them feel better, have at it.

Aah if only you had half a brain and understood how *nix systems and sandboxes work.

then how will Apple make money?

remember they charge you $19 for some stupid cloth to clean your idiot phone,
If they cared about security then release it throughout the eco system

but they clearly DONT, as then they can make you buy one through the idiot store,
and charge your credit card as Software aint free, when its Apple,

but each to his own I guess,
if it makes people feel better when Apple says "locked mode"
have at it,

remember this is the same company that slowed down Old Iphones so you would be forced to buy newer ones.

when it becomes a solid brick then I think it has reached its peak locked down state.

who said anything about leaving it on standard firmware?
if you pick your android right, it will stay supported for many years to come, with unofficial updates

Not your best work to date, you really need to step up and do better.
