Apple CEO Tim Cook takes pay cut for missing targets

Rebadging the iPhone 6 and calling it a 7, then expecting massive sales.

^but in all seriousness I mean Samsung and LG does the same. So what other factors are coming in now. Was the iPhone 7 that big a screw up?

@Mct am I using the 'a' correctly here?

How did their MacBook sales do?

It's a really fascinating company

Apple CEO Tim Cook takes pay cut for missing targets

Apple CEO Tim Cook and top executives at the company took a pay cut in 2016 for failing to meet performance targets.

As I read it ... no pay cut.

They just did not take the 100% of the bonus incentive available for making all their targets. That's normal in nearly all companies that link incentives to bonus schemes Misleading headlines?

Or am I missing something ..

A pity our president does not have the same attitude. Forgot - he would be reduced to penury, along with all the other hangers-on

Not a pay cut, I presume they just agreed to take less, this probably just to soft sope shareholders.

Pfft meaningless.

Besides the fact that it was a bonus, not actual compensation, he also sold $36 million dollars worth of stock he got in 2011 last year and the rest appreciated around 25% year on year.

Lip service to assuage peons that don't know how wealthy people really make their money.
