Apple explains why it removed VPN apps in China

Of course you never bring a proof, as you are a troll.

Dude seriously. The rest of us read that article the way it was meant... it's only you who somehow sees something else.... therefore you need to provide proof for your point of view

The deeper problem is now that they’ve bowed to China the very next one to make the same request can’t really be denied.

So when the US says they want backdoors and loopholes what is Apple going to say this time?

This issue hasn't been even touched in the news article (by the Apple or the reporter). It actually support my point of interpretation of the Apple statement.

To all others, if you want to argue that Apple was forced to comply by law, but not some other means, bring a proof by quoting relevant part of Chineese regulation.

I can’t tell you the exact regulation but I can tell you from personal experience that you either agree to their demands or you simply aren’t allowed to operate in the country.

It doesn’t really matter what it says where. If the government of a country gives you an ultimatum you have no other choice but to go with it or remove yourself.

Depends how they say it. There's a big difference between the FBI or NSA wanting a back door and congress creating an act and the president signing it.
