Apple faces U.K. class action for overcharging 20 million users

I paid R30 for an ad-free calculator on ipad and I also want my money back.
 
“The commission charged by the App Store is very much in the mainstream of those charged by all other digital marketplaces,” Apple said. “In fact, 84% of apps on the App Store are free and developers pay Apple nothing. And for the vast majority of developers who do pay Apple a commission because they are selling a digital good or service, they are eligible for a commission rate of 15%.”

That is a flat out lie.

You have to pay these bastards to just get registered.
The Apple Developer Program annual fee is 99 USD and the Apple Developer Enterprise Program annual fee is 299 USD, in local currency where available. Prices may vary by region and are listed in local currency during the enrollment process.

Happily using FP Calculator for free on my iPad Pro. Haven’t had any ads on it.
I don’t get why they don’t just use the iPhones built-in calculator app on the iPad, but apparently Steve Jobs was against the Calculator app Scott Forstalls team had created in the original iPad shortly before release and it got canned, seems they never bothered to work on it since.

There was an exchange student in my one class in matric, and he brought his graphing calculator along from Germany. I really don't understand why the heck SA schools don't use them. It lets you focus on the bigger questions and not sweat the small stuff.
