wow - impressive. I've got the 4gb nano which has lasted a lot longer than a few other cheaper alternatives I've bought. Nowdays - who doesn't have a ipod

You don't have to use iTunes ... it just makes it easier to use it

I know you're saying there is a heck of a markup here (blame the importers not apple) but it's really not that much.

Just got back from the states (california) 3 weeks ago, and I bought a new 80 gig apple ipod video with a fm transmittor for under R2000. Now you tell me if south africans aren't ripped off?
