Apple hindering e-book antitrust investigation

A Washington lawyer monitoring Apple Inc. compliance with antitrust laws after a judge found it conspired with publishers to raise electronic book prices said in court papers filed Monday that the company is obstructing his work.

There's certainly more to this story than a quick quip with anti Apple colored glasses implies.

In either case Apple is challenging the process in court, so make prepare the popcorn, as there's still much more drama to follow.

Btw keep in mind they haven't run past any of the appeal processes, so this one got the potential to continue for a few years.

Apple's just greedier than most.

Keep telling yourself that young one...

Nice job Bromwich managed to secure for himself:

Bromwich is charging more than $1,100 an hour. ” Bromwich’s bill for his five-person team’s first two weeks of work: $138,432.40.
