Rather fed up with Apple - got an Apple TV 4K Streaming box. Bit it needs an Apple ID. So I proceed to create one and process dies where I need to enter code sent to phone, it hangs and no further progress is possible.

Ideas on how to proceed?

Tried on Edge and Firefox on my computer - tried Chrome and Firefox on phone - tried Firefox on laptop .

Do it on LTE Incognito.

It’s almost certainly your adblocker or fancy DNS breaking it.

Or the VPN you didn’t need in the first place.

Adblocker only on Firefox on my Desktop computer. No fancy DNS, or VPN.

LTE ... , is a forgotten option - thanks for the reminder.

Yes, that is where I started, going to give the Apple Music, o e a shot, as soon as I get a Apple Gift card.

Just reaffirms why I dislike Apple crap - now you have to log in to iTunes as well - make sure they can shove as big a piece of the Apple echo system down you throat as they possibly can. Then you have to enter a password for everything - probably need one to go to the toilet as well.

What a pile of crap. What a PAIN in the arse.

At least I have Netflix and YouTube installed.

Log into itunes for appletv to work? Idk I did all of it once from apple tv and was set for both apple ids.

Nvshield was awesome until it bricked on me and then I went with apple tv + lan.

Btw somewhere in setting set your keyboard to vertical mode / layout.

I'll get there - so far the Apple TV 4K has cost me 4-5 hours of very precious sleep time. Working 16-18 hours Monday to Sunday does not leave on with much time for one self.
