Apple iPad 2 screen fked

Hi everyone. I've had my iPad since Dec 2012 and a few months ago the screen while I was playing a game just went weird with green lines all over. I can go out on the homescreen and everything is like that. I've rebooted and still. Is there any guarantee with apple's screens that if I drive all the way to Apple they will fix it for me? Or how can I fix it? Or can it be fixed?

Please help. I miss my iPad
 
I had the exact same problem. My Ipad was still in warantee and I received a brand new Ipad. They could not fix the screen.
 
go to your local Pakistani repair shop
 
Being an iPad 2 it's probably way out of warranty by now.

As such I would say buy a new one rather as the iPad 2 is now well and truly dated and you would be wasting money to fix it.
 
Have you tried the slap on the back trick? Google it, there's plenty of examples and it can't harm much to try :)

That would be hardware I assume.

Mines got an annoying intermittent backlight problem that I need to get fixed. :o
 
Thanks a lot guys. I'll visit Apple when I visit Umhlanga again and iFix. If it works out too much I'll have to get the new one. Which I don't have the moola for now
