Apple iPhone 17 thread

Then the 2s fitted so much better but still I’d have to reset by pushing them into my ear every now and again. Now the 3s, I just can’t tell you how much of a difference it makes for me. It’s only been a couple of days but I wear a lot and so far I am so happy with them.

Oooh, man I’m hoping for the same experience from a fit point of view- the Pro 1 was okay in my ears but would occasionally pop out, the Pro 2 was better - hopefully I have the same experience as you and the Pro 3’s fit even better than the 2’s

Yep picked mine up yesterday evening. Managed to to score a free pair of AirPods 4 ANC with the upgrade :D.

Setup the phone so long but waiting on the screen guard and cover to be delivered so i can use fully use it lol

Out of interest did you change tip sizes between 2 and 3?

Can anyone confirm whether a Vodacom prepaid eSim will seamlessly transfer from a iPhone XR over to the new 17? I know at one stage a year or 2 back eSim's didn't transfer and if I recall this was a Vodacom specific rather than a Apple issue.
I have a physical Vodacom contract Sim and then also a Vodacom prepaid eSim.
I can't wait to upgrade to the 17, coming from the XR I'm sure it will be night and day.

It wasn't Vodacom only - had the same issue with Telkom last year - eSim didn't transfer and I had to go into a store to get it sorted.

Not sure if that has changed.

I just remembered - if that's the original sim you had in the X, they might need to upgrade the physical sim too (happened to me a couple of years ago) so definitely worth making an appointment at one of their stores for when you do the swap.
