I started off with 26.0.1 but updated to 26.1 PB4 on Friday. Wish I had downloaded the 26.1 PB4 ipsw and updated out of the box.

I'll leave it as is for now and when 26.1 is released to the public I'll backup, download the 26.1 ipsw, wipe phone and do a data restore.

26.1 RC has just dropped (late drop, Apple must be on a go-slow).
 
The speakers on this phone are ridiculously loud, I was busy playing some clips of the Madlanga Commission while texting and the audio is so loud and clear it no longer sounds like “phone audio” it is so bassy and rich.

Don’t get me wrong, previous iPhones, I think since the Xs range have had amazing stereo speakers, but the 17 Pro Max is hitting crazy levels of range given the siZe if the speakers.
 
For those of you who have been through this, waiting for stock from Vodacom, should I bother to follow up with Vodacom on ETA, will they actually be able to tell me something or will they again just give me the generic 3 to 21 day reply?
It has been a week now.

I did this via Twitter/X, threatened to cancel the order and a few days later I got a Waybill etc…and the phone was delivered the following week. I don’t if this was due to me complaining or if it was coincidental.
Complained to them on both their pages on 23 September, 30th September it arrived.

Might do the same with Telkom, it’s been just over a month now waiting for a 256gb

I called them yesterday cause it has also been over a month since I have heard anything. Apparently stock is arriving today and then more on the 7th November. This has been the weirdest iPhone launch I have ever had and I have been using iPhones since the 3GS, never had to wait this long

Yeah heard stock arrived yesterday but all stores and providers have a looooong waiting list. Especially for the 256 Pro’s. Black 17’s as well

If they'll allow it and it won't upset the apple cart too much (pun intended), then I'll even change my colour if it means I can get it a bit quicker.
I asked for a black 17, 256 GB, but I don't really care about the colour because I anyway cover my phone, I'll be fine with the blue as well.

If it was the Pro, I won't go as far as saying I'll take the orange though.
