Apple iPhone 4S arrives

16 months wait for this crap...what an Epic Fail!

Samsung and HTC are looking very attractive lately.
 
Amazing ...
How underwhelming ....
Siri only available in a couple of countries ...
Sad, Sad, Sad, and I have been waiting for a couple of months to upgrade my wife's phone
 
I can already see us Boertjies having difficulties giving instructions to an English iPhone. Wonder what "bl1kSIM" will do? ... "Sir, your SIM is blocked as requested." ... :D

What makes me said is that this is evolution, not revolution which is what we are used to from Apple.
Siri is a great idea, which will take the market by storm, but there is not South Africa in Siri so it currently means nothing to us ..

29% better this and better that on the camera ... No disrespect but seriously ?
SGS2 or iPhone 4S ? You tell me...
 
It is quite amusing to watch the responses of people who clearly don't pay attention to reality.

Apple's release plans for the iPhone have followed a similar pattern.

I dnt see the problem.. the current design is cool, only issue would be same size screen. Other than that they improved the specs so compared to previous iteration it is a jump. Suspect iphone5 will be out in june next yr tho as per usual.
 
Big mistake Apple made was to mess with Samsung.

And now they're paying dearly for it. tsk tsk

Who in his/her right mind still want a puny 3.5'' screen? Mind you, makes me feel that my iPhone 3G is still "hip", cos it also has a 3.5'' screen. :D

You're at least 5 years too late with that punditry. The same story has been said for years.

Funnily enough Apple seems to keep doing well despite the constant predictions of doom.

Its not about people not following the pattern, besides if we talk about patterns the 4S should have been released in July already.

Its about many people that was expecting the iPhone 5 with a bigger screen or a redesign. The media was filled with a possible 2 phones that did not help either.
