Apple iPhone 6 launch date reportedly set

Why would anyone want to speak on a phone with a 5.5inch screen? That's bigger than the Galaxy Note which already makes people look silly.

No it doesn't. 3 years ago it looked weird, now it looks normal. In fact people speaking on little iPhones look a bit weird now.

I am going to be very interested to see the price of the 6 when it gets here. I might just end up getting a 5s.
 
Surely the more expensive, the better?

The Note 3 is 5.7 inches but it is big. Interesting move by Apple and I'm sure it wouldn't have been done without some hard thinking but I can't help to wonder a) is this going to kill the popular iPad mini market and b) what sort of headache is this going to present the app makers? 3 versions now?

I don't get it either, as you say, they'll be impacting the iPad mini market and they've still got to compete against the Galaxy Note which is a well built piece of hardware (despite the fact I think it makes you look silly) coming up on it's 4th iteration.
 
Given that there are no parts leaks for the 5.5" iPhone yet I am guessing that it won't be released this year, if at all.
