Sounds more like they just cracked her email password - it was probably her name

Ye it has I cant find all my links for some reason, but ye its been done for a long time already.

There biggest fault they made was announcing to the world that it cant be hacked, they just provided a challenge to the world of hackers and guess who won!:D

Apple did the same thing . . . . the score so far:

Apple:1 — Hackers:0
(Windows:0 — Hackers:∞ :D)

i think its a great idea to make it Bullet proof hey .. cos all you do is put the hacker on the payroll to fix it ...

If it really does have an embedded sim getting one off ebay won't help you much. And yeah, you really believe that article?

Vista 1 = Mac OS X 0

Anyway.

Don't worry about the iPhone coming here. Get one off ebay if you want it. (When it becomes availible)
Read the discussion - http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=65423 - OsX security is proven. ;)

Anyone who buys a iPhone when they come out is going to have to pay for two years of Cingular service - mandatory - so good luck getting one off ebay for a reasonable price.

EU and Japanese versions may not be tied down to contracts.

I think they will be. It will give one provider an edge over another if they are the only one to provide such a hyped-up device. And a contract's good for the cellular provider.

But if it is without a contract, it will be WAY more expensive than the US version ($500/600 WITH a 2-year contract). If we take the value of a contract at $200, the phone should retail for $700-$800. US manufacturers often price things the same over various currencies, so I expect it will at first be 700-800 Euros in Europe. Especially if they redevelop it to add UMTS in the Euro/Japanese version.
