Apple isn't waiting

Apple sure makes lovely products. Everytime I walk past their display at Look & Listen in Menlyn I leave a trail of drool worthy of a "Warning!!!! Wet Floor!" sign.

;)

I'm finding Apple's current propensity towards vapourware disturbing. Fortunately, I'm most interested in the computers and the OS - although my iPod photo is getting a bit long in the tooth . . . . :)

bwana : The Apple TV is the only product the have talked about long before announcing. The iPhone is a different story. They had to announce it then due to the FCC

On the contrary - they never had to announce it at all - they chose to do it at MacWorld. The device isnt - or at least wasnt at the time of the announcement - even fully functional.

Vapourware.

No reason why they couldn't have done an announcement then. The world stops to listen when Jobs passes gas so it wouldn't have made the slightest difference.

This way they could have actually released something at MacWorld.
