Apple iTunes users drive Volkswagens

True, I saw 6 VW beetles (old-shape) with the driver using an i-pod whilst driving in Pretoria on one day in December. Obviously the owners do not wish to invest in a sound system for old cars.
 
iPods work with newer model cars as well. if you tune the cars radio to 88.9FM frequency or somewhere thereabout, then set your iPod you can listen to your tunes without needing to buy a cd changer or mp3 player. even on a golf4, works perfectly.

You need one of those FM modulator things that plug into the ipod and 'broadcast' the songs. I had a Griffin iTrip and found it to be the biggest waste of money I have ever encountered. It just didn't work properly, as soon as you had battled to get the radio tuned into the thing and drove off, the signal dissapeared!! Absolutely pointless I thought, so I took it back about 2 hours after iI bought it
