Apple lightning cable

A few years ago, approx 2/3 the shop and ship in jhb rivonia, just up the road from the office sold very short apple lightning cables - Belkin for approx R135.

They worked like a bomb - proper proper cable, charges fast on AC power and never once gave us incompatible error msgs...I have one in my car and one in the house, however they are on their last legs...

They dont make them anymore, if i knew this i would have bought 10 more!

R107 and R110 still beats buying an apple cable for R300! or more!

Does anybody know a place in JHB (this is mainly a cape town site) that sells good quality apple lightning cables cheap?

I will let you know how each perform when they arrive - but just based on the descriptions, the Adata looks like the better one.
 
Musica sells a flat cable for R99 - can't recall the brand but they come in black or white.
 
and how have you found it?

I bought 2 cables from a distributor here in jhb for R50 each (SMD Technologies) - worst cable i have ever bought, charges so SLOWLY and alot of times doesnt work, have have thrown both away. Its the Amplify make....dont touch those cables!

I need someone to view their experiences not just say oh you can get them at x, yes but its probably crap! The fong kong cables you get a the pakistany cell phone shops - i dont want those, i want proper stuff cheap, such a pity Belkin stopped making those cables - they really were the BEST!
 
Game sells on that goes for 150 but they also have a Energizer one for 150, it is one of those short ones that you can put on you keychain.

Think the Kanex is going to work better...i grill at anything chinese...really find their stuff crap!
 
I baught a 2 meter Kanex one around 8 months ago and it's still going strong, so far it's lasting longer than the OEM Apple one which came with my previous iPhone. Just the other day I baught another 2 meter Kanex one when it was on a Takealot daily deal. Now I have a cable for my bedside charging at night and one permanently in my laptop bag.
I like the Kanex quality, it has a really good, solid and quality feel to it.
 
Ps. An Apple cable cost in excess of R450 last I checked.
