Apple Mac, Windows phone users watch the most porn

Could it not just be that the Windows Phone and tablet users are struggling to use the browser?

Probably not, in my extensive dev experience it's the best browser of all the ecosystems - straight 100% faithful port of the desktop browser (more of a recompile actually). No watered down versions like Safari on iOS or Chrome/Android browser on Android

Why would anyone want a desktop browser on their phone? I use Firefox on Android and it's pretty close to perfect. Syncs with Firefox on my desktop.

If only desktop IE wasn't a piece of ****. But to be fair, it has gotten far better.

IE11's a good browser by any metric. It's the rendering engine that's the same across platforms. You absolutely want that, if you don't know why, you probably shouldn't be having this conversation. It's obviously wrapped up in a mobile-friendly UI.

"Pretty close" - my point exactly.

IE syncs across all your windows installs too regardless of platform.

Firefox's Gecko engine is used in both their desktop and mobile apps. I wasn't aware this was a big deal.

Are you claiming IE is the perfect browser?

Nope. But when it comes to doing desktop/mobile dev it's a breath of fresh air. Complete feature parity in the engine. None of this building for desktop and wondering if the mobile version supports that yet. The others are catching up, but this is one thing that MS has done right - it's easier for them because their tablet, mobile and desktop platforms, Win8.1, are all built from the same code base as well. Credit where credit is due.
 
Nothing better to do on a windows/apple phone or tablet anyway :p
