Apple Mail

Hey guys,

Does anyone know how to backup mail from Apple Mail? OSX Mavericks. When I go Mailbox > Export this works but the exported mailboxes are tiny (2mb). I have a hell of a lot of attachments in my mailboxes so it's obviously not backing these up?

Do you want to backup to move somewhere else? Or do you want to backup to then delete other mail?

Easiest bet would be the just backup the entire folder under ~/Library/Mail.

Well I want to move it to a new MacBook. Will copying that folder work?

Use the migration wizard. Should allow you to move everything that you want to
