Apple Music

I've done it. Currently with Simfy. Quite enjoying Apple Music now since my rant. It's on-par with Simfy. Apple Music offers much better playlists catered to your liking though.

Just waiting to see what their Android app is like, then I'm ditching my Simfy account.

Signed up during lunchtime, very very nice.
So far its been spot on with my tastes.

As a UI designer I was annoyed by the new Apple Music app. Spotify, deezer, rdio are very similar for a reason, standard UI patterns that music listeners expect. But I'm understanding the logic behind what Apple has done not that I fully agree, plenty of room for improvement.

lol, I'm suspecting he uses windows, iTunes is a solid OSX app.

It's pretty solid on this HP piece of Windows **** I'm forced to use as well now.

If you want a **** app...Windows Media Player would be it.

I dont like it but for some reason spotify vouchers dont work for me & its cheaper than spot.

Haven't signed up as of yet - but curious about the monthly subscription offer:

How would it work for those who use vouchers? Can it pull the monthly sub off the iTunes credit, or must a CC be attached?

Which Mac are you running it on?

SO's MacBook Air. I'd be copying stuff to my iPod and it would just stop working. Like the songs I add would show on the iPod but they're greyed out and refuse to actually copy.

Although it's shyte on my Windows desktop, too.

They've improved it quite a bit over the years, though.

How about having your own opinion instead of regurgitating what the internet says?

Already gave mine earlier, if you'd like to read back.

Nice save.

Then you shouldn't base your opinion entirely on the Windows version.

Oh yes.

Oh yes.

Why not? Are Apple incapable of making good Windows applications?

But my initial point was quite a simple one - I'd have liked a simple, lightweight app to use. iTunes has just never been an application that I particularly enjoy using. Although I understand why it makes sense from the company's perspective.

And apparently I'm not the only one, going by the stuff in the link I posted.

Understood.

When I use iTunes, I just press the Play/F8 button.

Rather use something else for basic playback. As you understand it, when one has multiple iDevices/Macs/ATVs, iTunes is fantastic. More of a centralised library from which you choose what to push to each device, than a mere music player.

That's without mentioning the Store aspect, where legal music can be purchased...

Anyone?

Can pull the sub of account credit; I have a US account with no CC attached and have signed up - loving it so far.

Awesome. Thanks for confirming. Going to wait until things have settled - bit nervous about those stories of metadata etc. info in iTunes being corrupted.
