Not after they purchase a mac :D

haha nice one.

Apple households also owned more types of electronics, more than double the number of Apple households owned LCD televisions which were 50 inches or larger for example. Apple households are therefore more affluent than those with Windows PCs.

I don't agree with that conclusion. Do they have the data showing that these participants actually purchased these items?

How do we know that Apple households don't just steal more electronics?

just shows you - rich people are stupid. Steve jobs knows there are a lot of dumb rich people out there that buy it just because it's more expensive.

my father once told me they made a new perfume (he's a flavourist) but since they made and sold it for much cheaper than other perfumes, people didn't buy it, because they thought it's cheap sh it - when they made it expensive people started buying it - go figure.

haha... they may be a bit richer... but you have to be a real doofus to pay a premium simply for that logo. :D

I think you're quite wrong there. It's not just a logo you're paying for. Maybe if you spent some time on a Mac, you'd soon realise that it is way superior to a PC.

Why do you think big names brand clothing sells dude? Make something expensive and people will think it is exclusive and amazing :D but in reality it is nothing more than a rip off.

actually, you are right... Macs are typically weaker than their PC counterparts and have less features... so you're not just paying for the logo... you're paying for less hardware as well :D

lol@Garyvdh

I had this debate a restaurant with some friends. 2h and much food and drink later it still ended nowhere.

That's like saying you'd prefer to drive an old skadonk because it has an orange on the aerial and a nodding dog on the dashboard as opposed to a luxury German vehicle. More features!

okaaay... so if 'the rich' are so dumb - HTF did they get rich and why are you slaving away in a cubicle somewhere working for them on your PC?

We do not mean they are stupid as in idiots, they know how to make money but they also know how to waste money was the actual point.

'They' got rich because they used their heads and bought a Mac in the first place. On the Mac it took them half the amount of time to do a job that would take forever on a PC. As a result 'they' could take on triple the amount of work that a PC user could and because they were in a really good head space from working on such a beautiful computer, they also got even more work because they weren't as uptight as the PC user trying to do the same job.

The real truth is that anybody with half a brain cell would gladly chuck-up their PCs for Mac but are afraid to admit it.
