Apple Silicon M5

Worth noting the R17,999 is the Prime-exclusive price — you'd need a Prime membership to get it. The normal price is R18,956, which is still a decent number for the M5 with 512GB. Just so nobody's surprised at checkout when the lower price doesn't apply.

If you don't already have Prime, do the maths on the membership cost before counting on that R17,999.

Did you register for MyBB just to drop some knowledge on the peasants?

Notwithstanding it’s about R59 for a month you can sign up for a 30 day trial and claim the special pricing. Remembering to cancel is the only difficult part…

Good shout — that's the way to do it if you only want the one purchase. Just set a reminder to cancel, because that R59 quietly renews and people forget. For a one-off Mac buy, the trick makes sense; not worth keeping Prime just for this unless you'll actually use it.

Wouldn't stress about it if you forget. Pop em an email and they'll reverse the renewal if you forget- especially if you haven't used any of the prime perks in the new month.
