Hi all. I recently set up netflix and unotelly on a media centre pc and it works great. Just bought an apple tv for the other room, put the dns in and its refusing to work? Anyone know anything I don't? Thanks

Yeah better to do it on the router, that way all your devices running on the network will be masked.

Ok great. Will it always work if I do it on the router? The people I'm doing it for are a bit tech illiterate but use their devices a lot so it would be a bit of a crisis if their internet stopped working. Is there no-way I can just set up netflix to work on the apple tv without touching the router - based on the new netflix forced dns the answer appears to be no - you have to use the router.

Well I am no expert, but if your router is setup then all you would need to do is update your IP address when your internet is reset for whatever reason. I use the Unotelly app on my phone and you simply open it up and hit Update IP and done. There are ways to automate this but I think it requires different firmware for your router.

Is the Apple TV connecting to SA iTunes account ?

I think you need to both the vpn and the iTunes in the country which has the Netflix library you want to access
