Apple Watch is official

This thing doesn't look too bad and it does a lot of useful stuff. Not that I'm going to buy one

Looks cool, I'll look for some demo movies over the next few days, the crown thing though, not sure how practical it's going to be, I always struggled to set the time in analogue watches without taking the watch off first.

The important bit is the interface - it's seems like they got that right. In a few generations the tech will have improved and they'll be able to make it a lot thinner. It kind of reminds me of the iPhone 1 design oddly enough.

In time I think it'll grow to be a success.

Gen 4 should be pretty awesome.

It's just a secondary input method. On the live demo they were essentially doing everything with the touch screen.

It will probably cost R4500 in SA.

I'd rather buy a second hand iPad for that price.

It just occurred to me, being left handed and all, that it's going to be awkward as hell to operate.

Is it an issue with cameras as well? Have always found cameras a bit awkward as a leftie.

Do you get left handed cameras?

Holeee shyte... Haha

That's the ugliest apple device since the iphone 3 LOL

I actually feel sorry for the sheeple who drank apple's cool-aid.

I'm sure they will make left handed versions.
It would be nice but I have my doubts.

Hm true. I'd wear it on my left wrist and control it with my right index finger.
First glance I like the watch but not that much. I've had to make enough concessions in my life being a south paw...

I suppose I could learn to read upside-down? :p

No, not dslrs at least, and it's a real pain in the arse - especially during winter. :o

And that's contract prices. In other words, what you pay in on a contract. Don't even talk about cash prices.

Contract prices... for the watch? I think that's going to be the retail price.
