I had to get my bank to authorize the use of my card on Apple Pay. That’s in the US.

He’s probably staying that banks in SA don’t support Apple Pay.

Streaming does not go against your cellular. Go look at Tmobile as an example - you get unlimited music and video streaming for free.

Apple pay doesn't work on South Africa either. There is no point to a cellular Apple watch in South Africa, the benefits you get from it just aren't avaliable there.

Just remember that in the US the cellular one works great because things like music streaming doesn't count towards your data cap.

Which is totally irrelevant.

So you'll literally just getting the cellular watch to be reachable via a phone call.
