Anyone know a istore in Jhb that has stock of the series 1 42mm?

I think iStore Sandton City might have. Managed to pic up a series 1 42mm in Space Black there.

Supply is certainly not constrained overseas on Watch Series 1 and 2 - so this is simply piss-poor logistcal planning from Core.

istore is totally useless, I preordered a series 2, only to be told now that the one I had preordered had never arrived in SA, they said they had phoned me last week to offer me different model, but never got a call from them. Now I have to wait 2-3 weeks for stock.

this isnt a failure to launch..... failure would imply that they actually tried to do something.

Wow. That's next-level useless. But they presumably don't care, since they hold all the cards. At this rate, I'm hopeful I get one before Christmas.

From my understanding, they filled all pre orders they could and there is no more stock. So it could be 2-3 weeks before the stores have stock.

Indeed they are. I was in this morning, definitely had space grey with black strap and silver with white strap 42 mm sport series 2 models.

But ja. Skipped AW0, and always had my eye on AW2. Been a long wait. Would've been nice if they arranged more than the 38(?) they seemingly had for South Africa on the release day.
