Apple Watch thread

A good tip is to use Prestik to clean the speaker holes. Press the Prestik firmly into the speaker and microphone holes. All the debris sticks to the Prestik. Works for your phones speaker and charging ports too.
Lightning maybe, but I’m not sure how good an idea that is with usb-c.

iStore is punting some deals, depending on your use case & budget something to consider:

Jassis after the experience I've had this week of trying to add iCare+ to my Apple Watch I will avoid ever using iStore again if I can help it.

The most incompetent lot I have ever experienced on so many different levels.

Anyone know how to activate an MTN esim on an Apple Watch? I've been struggling for over a week. MTN says it's active on their side. When registering it on their portal it gives an error after inputting the Sms OTP.
The call centre are clueless.

Hi all, I last had a Series 5 which broke a couple of months ago and I want to get a new watch.

As I see it, the only nice feature the Series 11 has over the SE3 is the hypertention notifications.

I am on medication for high blood pressure which keeps my blood pressure nicely in check. I have a machine to test my blood pressure and it also gets synced to my Apple Health, but as things go, you get lazy and no longer test your blood pressure twice or even once every day.

Is there anyone here who suffers from high blood pressure who have tested the hypertention notifications, does it work, is it actually worth getting a watch with the feature?

I guess what I'm asking, can I be confident that the watch will alert me if my blood pressure goes out of whack for some reason, or should I rather just get the SE3?

Sitting with a apple watch 8,looking at series 11 and rumours for 12 and it all just seems pretty much the same features as a 8 besides streamlines to the shape. Might have to break tradition and try garmin when it gets added to the discovery benefit with the apple watch this year. Hard to get excited upgrading an apple watch (maybe just a sign that the series 8 was a good piece of tech).

hypertension
Pretty much useless if you already have it and you want to check it day to day.

“Apple Watch (Series 9/later, Ultra 2/later) can detect potential, un-diagnosed hypertension by analyzing optical heart sensor data over 30-day periods, notifying users of high blood pressure patterns. It is not a diagnostic medical device and requires users to be over 22, not pregnant, and not previously diagnosed with hypertension.”
