Apple Watch update pulled after watches become unusable

Apple has taken down the watch OS 5.1 update following reports that it was causing Apple Watches to become unusable, The Verge reported.

Several Apple Watch owners have taken to social media to report that their device gets stuck on displaying the Apple logo. Restarting the watch and its paired iPhone does not appear to fix the problem.

Lol.

"Hey bro, you got the time?"

"Yeah, it's ... hang on. Just a sec. Gosh damnit."

Apple is doing well lately aren't they

/Laughs kaal arm

It is really odd since this has been in Beta for a couple of days now without any issues reported.

Ran it myself and no hassles.

Then it hits public release (same build) and this **** goes down and one has to wonder exactly how? It's not like they didn't test it.

Also aren't all the devices exactly the same, say for the apps they have loaded and the users settings config, with this in mind what works on A should reasonably be expected to perform exactly the same on B

Or is my lack of software development knowledge shining through.

Yup the hardware set is very limited.

But the devices being the same can be really said for anything mass produced.
