Apple will tell users if updates slow down their iPhone

Apple has committed to being more upfront about the performance and battery health effects of iOS updates on its devices.

The company told the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) that it would provide more detailed and accurate information about the performance impact of iOS updates going forward.

While you at it - trust us to tell you when we've used faulty/subpar components (even though we really don't want to do so and expect you to find by yourself. It's for better for us you).
