But I'm pretty excited for you ... you're bumped up recording 4k and taking 12MP photos! That's some pretty 2013 technology there! Yay you!

I knew you'd be following with interest.

MP means very little, and only benefits cropping and pixel peeping. What's most significant is the entire camera system, application, and the way it takes/renders photos, consistently well.

It doesn't look like it'll beat the LG G4's aperture.

Of course - I had 2 iPads and an Apple TV. I think their marketing and business model is fantastic an year after year, I hope that one day they will do something great with the product.

I Just assumed that every phone available today has it. When I hear them announce it now has 4k shooting, I was gobsmacked that a high-end phone available still lacked it. It became a given for me. True story :/

Apple do not need to compete on insignificant factors or otherwise gimmicks. They have a massive market share backed by happy, loyal customers.

As an Android user, I'm not surprised you view their competing amongst one another on said gimmicky factors as being important.
