Like OSX10.5 to 10.5.8 .... Even SL is on 10.6.1 in its first month .... Service packs...

I dont recall any of micrsofts products to have major problems? Besides maybe vista with its poor resource handling. But with a decent PC even that is perfectly fine.

The registry and common DLL directory sucks.
Windows slows down the more you install.
Windows is very virus prone. Windows is the reason why most spammers are able to send so much spam - zombie botnets of Windows boxes.
