from their site, which means they order from core when u place your order?
somehow i dont see that working out well for them. The site is also very slow.

yeah that's pretty much what i'm worried about - a virus targeting mac users wallets....

core are the only official distributors, right? maybe i should call them and ask what they know.
 
Their site was registered on 30/10 last year, so still really really new...

I doubt core has seen their site yet, they used to complain about other resellers and their logos/names etc.....they are going to have a fit about this....
 
i'm looking around for a mac pro - these guys have the lowest price i've found online, but something doesn't seem right. Anyway i'll try and speak to the relevant people at core.
 
I couldn't open the site, most be hosted on int. I'm running on local only, anyways how does it compare to zastore?

Its slow, kinda similar to za store though, rubbish logo....
cheap though...did not look to much, maybe the prices are ex vat??
would rather get from somewhere else to be honest.
digi sells extended warranties for reasonable prices if u purchase from them, its a no brainer for me
 
yeah i guess, spending the few extra k for the security is worth it.

I just don't want to buy any 'grey imports'
 
ya there are breaking many many reseller rules... from the name... through to the site layout..
 
The new mac pro is apparently coming soon....vertigoZA would know more about that though...
 
i keep telling people not to buy a Mac Pro now... unless you have to. nobody listens to me though. what do i know.. im only steve job's illegitimate love child from a wild rumble-in-the-jungle trip to africa for the product (RED) iPod campaign..

i can wait - but i don't want to wait if the new i7/xeon monster is gonna cost 60k :)

and when do you recon the so-called 'new' pro might appear on the market?
 
according to my one of a kind limited edtion apple branded crystal ball, the "new" mac pro as you put it will most likely cost around 40k.. will be the greatest machine ever made... will support 16TB of RAM and be Quadquad Core.. (lots of processors) it will be released when Snow Leopard is released (cause only SL will be able to handle the gajillion processors), SL is due, only once Windows 7 hits the shelves and since the win7 beta testing ends in August, I reckon we will see the Mac Pro and SL end of the year...
