I am waiting for my iPad (on order) to arrive at work - would like to experiment with application streaming. I need to prove that I can function completely on a Tablet - same way as I now do on my laptop. What do you think - is it possible????

You mean sending applications through bluetooth/wireless?

Simular to Google Apps - only streaming from something like citrix and any application eg Pastel, Matlab, etc....

Eish, Google Apps and Citrix are (in my books) nothing like each other...

Anycase, there is an iPad Citrix app available: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/citrix-receiver-for-ipad/id363501921?mt=8

Remember with the iPad (all IOS devices for that matter) you have to deploy apps through the APP store - Apple doesn't give a company central control on what their users are allowed to use or not use (AFAIK).

Splashtop, has internet streaming, but to be honest I never tried it or even checked what bandwidth it uses, as for Citrix I recon its the lightest option available as I use to have sites on Citrix that worked via Dail-up

What about cell phones - will it be feasable to stream applications to smart phones?

It works - I've seen people use say LogMeIn Pro to stream their desktop to their iPhones, but the screen is really to small to be too productive.

There a number of fairly good VNC clients for iPad though first prize is always clients that are developed for iPad/Android rather than using a remote connection to Windows/Linux box.

Lol, your seperate questions wouldn't have anything to do with the iPad compo by any chance? :D
