Apps to SD

Im amazed that I cant move installed apps to SD card, or am I missing something on the Xperia Z? Running 4.3 JB btw, but unless I download an app, or root then correct me if im wrong, but I cant move it? On ny old Desire HD, I was able to move apps without the need for a seperate app.

Any thoughts and ideas?

Seems odd, but yeah before 4.1 you could move apps to the SD card without any issue now all of a sudden it's become an issue again sigh.

Why not just use the App2SD app?

I tried that app, but it doesnt work. Tells me I can move the app, but I cant. Takes me basically to the app mamagement option on the device, and there are no options to move to SD. I dont feel like rooting, but it seems that may be my only way around this
