Arab Spring and the Israeli enemy

I've always wondered why the people who complain so loudly about Israel never mention the blood-soaked history all throughout the Middle East. If you look at this list of modern conflicts in the Middle East, the Arabs butchered their own brothers in ludicrous numbers in their various wars, civil wars, and other conflicts.

They continue to do so, with the vast majority of terror attacks in Iraq, Afghanistan and the rest of the Middle East claiming more Arab lives than anything else. This never receives more than a slight disapproving mention before the Israel bashing continues. As an aside, I disagree completely with the reckless expansion of settlements that Israel is engaged in.

Most of the land that Israel sits on was bought from the Arab nomadic tribes that owned it. Another large portion was land already owned by the Jews who have been there for millennia. The remaining land owned by settled .

And that's without mentioning the land stolen from the Jews that were living and driven out of Arab countries after '48
