Aramex asking for bank statement

I ordered an item from Amazon and Aramex is handling the delivery. My parcel was stopped at customs and Aramex requested receipts and shipping documents, which I send.

They are now asking for "DETAILED 1 MONTH BANK STATEMENT WITH TRANSACTION CLEARLY MARKED AND ACCOUNT HOLDERS NAME SHOWING" which seems rather dodgy and unnecessary to me. I'd prefer not to hand over my credit card statement, but have no experience with this.

Has anyone else had a similar request?

have you asked them why they need your bank statements?

That information is not required for bringing in items. I would tell them to get fcked

Had to do similar once for a parcel,blacked out everything but that line and the account holder name

I contacted them. They don't seem to grasp the problem. They say that if the carrier asked for it I should give them my bank statement.

I am currently experiencing the same issue!

The August statement does not yet exist as I only get the statement in September. So now I have to wait till September for the bank statement so I can send it to them.

Sorry to hear this. I think that Aramex accepted a screenshot of my credit card transactions for the day that the purchase was made; I had the same issue as you.

I did the same thing. I took a screenshot of the transaction and circled it in yellow to show the transaction. They won’t accept it. Fsckers. Now I have to wait till end September to get my item. A frikken electric shaver to shave my frikken pubes!!!!
