Arc browser exits beta, ends waitlist

The Browser Company has released version 1.0 and ended the waitlist for its Arc web browser, currently available on Mac and iOS. It was in testing for over two years.

The company also plans on releasing the browser for Windows users. However, there is still a waitlist for interested users running Microsoft's operating system.

Mmmmkay. Don't really need those features mentioned in the article. All the systems I use at work, works perfectly in Chrome. On my phone I have now a few days ago started using Brave browser to prevent those darn auto playing video adds that chows my mobile data while there is loadshedding.

Used to use Firefox actually. It did not play nice with the Vodacom systems though...so just kind of settled on Chrome. As for using Brave on my phone...saw my sister had it installed on her phone...so just kinda went with that.

I have Firefox, and Vivaldi (for when I need a Chromium-based browser) on my laptops, and Brave on my phone. I'm not averse to change, but I see no reason to.

Not so keen on that chunky sidebar with the tabs etc. in it. Also seems infuriating to have that on a multi-monitor setup though there's probably an option to relocate it to the top.
