Why did you not use the TV at the end of the day?

I am thinking of hooking a normal 53cm Tv to my cabinet.
Is there any drawbacks on hooking up a Tv instead of a monitor to the PC?

I tried the TV, but I could never get it to work whilst booting normally. (enabling VGA mode at startup worked, but is obviously unusable as no drivers are loaded). I tried tools to force different refresh rates (think you need 50hz), but all to no avail. Got tired of trying of 2-3 days and just plonked my 21" CRT in there. I lost a bit of screen size, but it's still okay.

I see you get nice VGA to AV converters. Going to try that first if does not work that lekker then I will have to go for the CRT option.
