Was quite suprised not seeing a thread yet about ArcheAge, anyone going to be playing this or took that HUGE plunge to get into the current Alpha TrionWorlds has thrown at you for $150?

For those not knowing about ArcheAge yet.. In short the game has been out for over a year now at Korean and Trionworlds are now converting it to english to publish it to the english community around NA/EU, and yes it's another MMORPG, and it's a sandbox MMO.

Don't see myself spending $150 on this, I will wait for release (I will buy a beta pack for the four day head start) but I am really interested in it! The videos look amazing, (though Black Desert is looking good too, but who knows when that will release).

I have been watching a few twitch streams and the game looks great!
 
Hey, know this is an old thread, but I was searching for ZA ArcheAge players and came across this, I am currently playing in the Beta and would also like to know if there are other guys interested in a ZA guild come launch.

You guys know of any plans for such a guild?
 
I've been playing closed beta and have been enjoying it, its not pay to win.
 
I played the Russian one for a while and while the combat is very generic, it is really one of the more unique MMOs on the market. Definitely going to be a big one.

Yeah Wic. We're looking at a predominantly ZA guild; medium-sized, relatively well organized and focused around end game PVP.

First choice name: Debauchery Tea Party
Focus: Claiming one of the 5 spots available for guild castles
Interests: Speedleveling; Crafting efficiencies

We'll be on EU. Atm a few of us are on the Shatigon server on beta, but no word on what server we'll be on at launch yet.
 
A bunch of friends and I are making a predominantly pvp guild on the EU server: Eanna, We are Aurora Legion, If you want an invite just PM me here with your character name and I will invite you ^^

I hope there will be realm switching in the near future.
 
Cool game, but I'd suggest holding off for a week or two so that the launch issues are sorted. Sitting in a queue for 20 minutes just to have the game blackscreen on you once you reach the front is not fun.
 
Zewp are you going to get patron status or just f2p?

I don't know yet. I'll see how I feel after a month and then decide.

Did you also see the ability to build ships, run farms, buildhousing, non-instance land-owning, no rigid class system? That the game is pretty much a mix of Ultima Online, Eve Online and WoW?

No? Then I'd suggest you have your eyes checked because this game isn't one of the most anticipated MMOs of 2014 for nothing.

Its an mmo without an engine and player models :eek:

I'm sorry but those models looks like 13 year olds. At least its no saartjie-baarman like that other mmo.

...probably all the wow-heads anticipating it ;)

Besides most anticipated title != best title. Marines? DNF? ESO? First iteration of FF14? Quite a few that was "most" "anticipated" "by" "the" "horde" and it turned out to be horse ****.

I'm pretty much over the vampire-see-my-powers-fantasy-wave "the generation" seems to be stuck on. I'd rather prefer something a bit less shiny, 13-year old boys, fantasy genre like for example AOC/TSW.

Perhaps a good PNP DND olde is in order without the 5.0 ease ;) :D

Mate, if you're going to insist that the game is a generic MMO because of its art style alone, you've missed the point completely. You don't have an inkling what this MMO is about. I don't have the will nor the patience to try and explain it to you, so okay. It's a generic MMO. Now move along so that the rest of us can enjoy what is one of the most unique MMOs released in years.
